If you’d like you can make each table its own unique color theme. So, for example, on one table you may have a container filled with mittens, gloves, hats and scarves in purple tones, another table have the same in red tones, another table in the blue tones, and so on. If this is the case a way that you could decorate each table further in the color scheme is to order your linens (napkins) in the same color theme as the table (so a multi-color order).

For an extra special touch you could even have, at each guest’s place setting, a small bud vase with a single flower bud in the color theme of that table. What’s really lovely about that is that these bud vases also serve as party favors that your guests can take home with them. Some bud vases can even be personalized. Others serve double duty as place card holders too. If you choose the latter then you would set them out on the Place Card Table that your guests will see when they first arrive and they would carry the bud vase to their seat - each guest then helps to create an even more beautiful table setting. If you plan to use bud vases I would recommend, before you purchase any of the items to be donated, to see what assortment of flowers are available from your florist or supermarket and then purchase your items in those color families.
